Terms and Conditions for Shore Way International Tuition

Welcome to Shore Way Tuition. By using our tutoring services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Services Provided
We offer tutoring services in Economics and Business Studies. Our services include online tutoring sessions, assessments, learning materials, and other related services. Specific details about the tutoring service, including subjects, schedules, and fees, will be provided separately and agreed upon by both parties before services begin.

2. Booking and Scheduling
Sessions must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
Tutoring sessions are available subject to tutor availability.
Any changes to the schedule, including cancellations or rescheduling, must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to notify us in time may result in a cancellation fee.
3. Payment Terms
The rate for tutoring services is specified on our website but may vary based on the subject, tutor experience, and session length.
Payments are due after each session.
We accept payments through credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
Late payments may incur a late fee of £10.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
If a session is canceled with insufficient notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
Refunds will be provided only if a session is canceled by Shore Way International Tuition or if services cannot be provided as agreed upon.
5. Code of Conduct
Students and tutors are expected to behave professionally and respectfully during all tutoring sessions.
Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or any inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. In such cases, we reserve the right to terminate the tutoring agreement without a refund.
Students should come prepared for each session and engage with the learning materials provided.

All safeguarding concerns will be raised with relevant local authorities.
6. Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our students. All personal and academic information shared with us will be kept confidential, and we will not share any details with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.

7. Liability
While we aim to provide high-quality tutoring services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or academic results.
Shore Way International Tuition will not be held responsible for any failure to achieve educational goals or improvement in academic performance resulting from the tutoring sessions.
You are responsible for ensuring that your child/student is fit to participate in our tutoring services, particularly regarding any health conditions, disabilities, or learning needs that may affect their learning.
8. Tutor Availability
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure tutor availability as scheduled. However, if a tutor is unavailable, we will notify you and work to arrange an alternative session time or tutor.
Shore Way International Tuition reserves the right to assign a different tutor based on availability or other operational needs.
9. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the tutoring agreement at any time. If the student or guardian wishes to terminate services, please provide at least 1 week’s notice. If Shore Way International Tuition wishes to terminate the agreement, we will provide you with one week's notice.

10. Intellectual Property
All tutoring materials provided by Shore Way Tuition remain the property of Shore Way International Tuition and cannot be reproduced, shared, or distributed without permission. This includes lesson plans, worksheets, and any other resources created specifically for or shared with the student.

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We may update or amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance. Continued use of our tutoring services after any changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes or legal matters arising from these terms will be handled in the appropriate courts of the United Kingdom.
